Fruited Sour Ale
Ripe is a tart and oaky blend of two Zinfandel barrels and two different house cultures. It opens with the citrus-forward aroma of lime zest, and ends with an effervescent and tangy zip. This beer began its journey as a Mexican lager before being aged for over two years in zinfandel barrels and then blended with fresh kiwis and lime zest. It is a perfect pairing for NC spring weather.
